Rerun-wise, I'm just coming up on the end of season 1....so I'm still kinda getting into the show, figuring things out and the like. But I'm still watching the new episodes anyway. ;-)
I can't help but hope that everything going on means Greg will end up back in the lab. Between him messing up, and Chandra the pissy replacement storming out, it looks like he might not be totally in the field yet. I have to say, I like him better in the lab. It just seems like too much, to add yet another CSI on the field. Last night, they had four different cases going. I don't know if this was a one-time thing, or if this is going to be the norm from now on, but I find it easier to keep up with only a couple cases at a time. I particularly enjoy when the whole group works on one specific case.
Nicky's haircut? Mama likes. I didn't think I would - I saw the little clips/pictures of him with the shaved head, and kinda went "Meh". And yeah, I probably prefer GE with hair, but hell, I prefer GE any which way he comes. So I got over it real quick.
So, another man has cheated on Catherine, apparently. Wow. We'll never hear the end of it now, will we?

I really hope that this was an exception because there was way too much going on. The whole investigation felt rushed. I also like Greg better in the lab.

Exactly. The beginning, especially, felt rushed to me. It was hard to distinguish between each case/crime scene, especially since two of them took place inside similar-looking hotel rooms.

I will say, I prefer him with hair. But I'm a sucker for George Eads, no matter what he's done with his hair :-) so I can deal with it for the time being, LOL.

I don't mind a little bit of their personal lives interspersed in there. Not where it takes over the whole show, but little glimpses here and there are nice.
